INFRASTRUCTURE:
The Company was founded in 1947. Today, we operate in a custom built facility of 30,000 square feet designed for large format imaging. There is also approximately 150,000 square feet of empty land onto which we will eventually expand.
Every consideration from chemical & material handling, work flow, air management and waste water treatment has been addressed for efficiency, staff comfort and a cleaner environment. Our location is downtown Toronto, one stoplight from the Gardiner Expressway and Don Valley Parkway intersections. Jones & Morris was the first in Canada to install wide format 2m (80" wide) continuous photo processing and the first in the world with two such units.
In the late '80's Durst Italy (the leading manufacturer of imaging devices) acknowledged that Jones & Morris had more Durst imaging devices than anyone - anywhere!
DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY:
Today, we offer photographic prints produced on the 50" wide Durst Lambda Laser Imager. Additionally, our 80" wide Durst Rho uv inkjet enables us to print on virtually any substrate anywhere from vinyls and fabrics to even glass and mirrors.
The installation of the matched component Durst Lambda 130 and Colex digital processor is the first of its kind in Canada. This allows for direct laser photographic imaging from electronic files up to 50" x any length.
